The gallery is now open for submissions!
As the name implies this gallery is specifically for pin up images of female heroes and villains from video games like Final Fantasy, Mortal Kombat, Mass Effect, Tomb Raider, Street Fighter etc
But it is also for female characters from the DC or Marvel Comicbook world. Following is a partial list of some of the characters we would expect to find here:
X-Men: Domino, Psylocke, Magik, Mystique, Phoenix, Rogue, Scarlet Witch, Emma Frost, Storm, Polaris, Madame Hydra, X23
Fantastic 4: Susan Storm
Captain America: Diamondback, Black Widow, Agent 13
Batman: Poison Ivy, Cat Woman, Bat Girl, Harley Quinn, Zatanna, Killer Frost
Spiderman: Spider Woman, Mary Jane Watson, Black Cat, Medusa
Superman: Super Girl, Faora, Dark Super Girl
Guardians of the Galaxy: Gamora, Nebula
Mass Effect: (game) Miranda, Shepherd (female), Liara, Jack, Tali, Samara, Ashley, Kasumi
Tomb Raider: (game) Lara Croft
Guild Wars 2: (game) Norn, Gyae, Anise, Caithe
Street Fighter: (game) Chun Li, Poison, Decapre, Cammy, Sakura, Juri,
Final Fantasy: (game) Tifa Lockhart, Ashe, Serah
Dead or Alive: (game) Kasumi, Hitomi, Tina Armstrong, Christie, Leifang, Helena Douglas, Rachel, Marie Rose, Ayane, Mila, Kokoro, Momiji, Pai Chan, Sarah Bryant
Mortal Kombat: (game) Sheeva, Kitana, Mileena, Sonya Blade, Jade, Skarlet, Frost, Sindel, Tanya, Li Mei, Sareena
Bayonetta: (game) Bayonetta
Others might include:
Wonder Woman, Lady Death, She Hulk, Black Raven, Red Sonja, Power Girl, Druuna, Vampirella, Brave Fist, Elektra, Xena, Ms. Marvel, Moondragon, Selene, Starfire, Black Canary
Please note that these types of pinups should be obvious in whom they are depicting. A nude woman sitting by a bath that is titled Lara, is not enough to identify her as Lara of Tomb Raider. Pretty much every superhero/villain, comic character and videogame character has some sort of symbol, costume or artifact/tool/weapon they a known for. These must be included to help identify who the character is you are portraying. Lara holding her pistols or signature pick ax while nude or scantily clad will help to identify her. Her long braid would help as well, but not just her braid.
If you're doing Supergirl or Batgirl then there should be a big S or a bat symbol, at the very least, somewhere obvious. If the hero or villain is obscure or uncommon, we would ask that you give some background in the description of your image to help identify her. Additionally, this category is for established/known characters, not your own. If you have your own comic/video characters, it is likely they may fit in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy gallery instead.
As a help, you can check Marvel female characters out at: marvel.com/universe/Category:W…
You can also check out DC female characters out at: www.comicvine.com/profile/feli…
and also www.comicvine.com/profile/icy_…
Remember also that we are looking for pin up images that may include a "fight pose" as it were, but we're not looking for action fight "scenes". I hope that distinction is apparent.
Happy posting!

We need a new Founder
First I'd like to thank all of you for having me as your Founder for over two years. I'll be leaving dA around May 20, the day that Eclipse takes over and kicks the old format away. That means that CGPINUPS (https://www.deviantart.com/cgpinups) will need a Founder! Any volunteers? (I think you need to be an admin.)
Thanks very much again,
Tom Chronophontes (https://www.deviantart.com/chronophontes)
Problems with Eclipse
Apparently Eclipse doesn't recognize subcategories of Digital Art, including 3-Dimensional Art, under which all submissions to this group (except animations) are appropriate. I recommend that, before you submit to CGPINUPS (https://www.deviantart.com/cgpinups), you switch back to the old pre-Eclipse format. (How to do that? Click on the "Profile" icon; at the bottom it will say "Switch to Old Site.")
Hello!
This is Chronophontes (https://www.deviantart.com/chronophontes) (Thomas Ahlswede), the new Founder. The great nucks (https://www.deviantart.com/nucks) has left as Founder, and asked me to take over. I'll take this opportunity to thank him for doing an awesome job running the group.
I don't anticipate making any changes, certainly not any major ones. I've reposted the group rules, with a few clarifications but no changes.
A slight caution: I'm lazy. I'm also the Founder of two very small groups, which I have not tried to expand because it would be more work! So I'll be delegating some of my responsibilities, particularly recruiting members, and thinking up and running contests or special projects. In
This might be a dumb question
This question comes from someone who still uses Victoria 4 in Poser. :o I know crazy, huh?
What is the difference between Victoria 6 and Genesis 3 Female? If any...
Can either be used in Poser, and can all clothes, poses etc be interchangeable between them?
If I were to ask how to incorporate G3F into Poser for creation, how do I go about doing that - is there some special set up required?
All helpful comments are welcome - LOL !
:D :D

Oh, weird. I found it on the Home page, and I can see it in the Galleries page but I can't contribute to it, but I can contribute to the normal galleries. How do I contribute to it?
