In some ways this is one of the more simpler galleries, yet perhaps more challenging to explain effectively. Bodyscapes are a kind of pinup image that generally focus on showing only a *portion* of a pinup character's body (it could be legs, buttocks, breasts, torso etc). That's the easy part... The character's personality *is not* the focus, instead it is an artistic expression of the pin up model's body in pose - the "form" becomes the abstract expression of art. To be effective, dramatic lighting is very important and and the framing by the camera. Most usually a bodyscape does not include the character's face since facial expression is not necessary. The nuance of posing the body as an abstract form in itself is the challenging part. Posing is critical and how the body is framed by the camera. The idea of a bodyscape is that the body form is artistically recognizable and attractive (you know that it's a female body for example, and not the elbow of a grandfather). Bodyscapes can show form, but they can also show physique, athleticism and flexibility (without being grotesquely muscle-bound). Think in terms of the body as an art form. In this world the "art" might only suggest a message... ;)
